On March 19, Nyepi — the Balinese Day of Silence — will begin in Bali
It is one of the most special and spiritual holidays on the island — a time of cleansing, renewal, and the beginning of a new cycle. On this day, the entire island falls into silence to give both nature and people the opportunity to restore harmony, and for 24 hours all life in Bali completely comes to a stop — the airport, roads, and most services are closed.
In 2026, the Balinese celebrate the New Year 1948 according to the Saka calendar.
We congratulate everyone on the upcoming Nyepi and wish you well-being, inner balance, and prosperity in the new year!
